Wrexham Golf Club

Dress Code

ALL VISITORS MUST ADHERE TO THE ON COURSE DRESS CODE

Dress Code for Course

Members & Visitors Dress Code

This dress code is the policy of the Management Board of Wrexham Golf Club.

The club wishes to preserve a "smart but casual golf attire" with a modern and relaxed approach based on clothing that is principally designed for golf.

It is expected that the code will be implemented with courtesy and common sense – especially with regard to guests and visitors. In most cases the individual would not be asked to leave, but advised that in future they would be expected to adhere to the club dress code. However, those who knowingly disregard the dress code may be asked to leave or to refrain from entering certain areas of the clubhouse.

Members are expected to take personal responsibility for observing standards of dress that reflect well on themselves and the Club and to ensure that their guests are advised accordingly.

Visitors, visiting societies, visiting teams and those participating in open competitions are required to comply with this dress code.

On the Golf Course

Recognised golf clothing as determined by convention or golf fashion must be worn at all times.

Golf shoes with socks visible above the shoes must be worn and soft spikes are preferred.

Men’s shirts must be tucked in at the waist.

The golf course includes practice areas and putting green.

In the Clubhouse

Smart casual clothing is permitted at anytime. Scruffy and torn clothing is not considered appropriate.

We kindly request that caps and hats are removed.

Please ensure mobile phones are on silent.

During the period between April 1 and October 31, cleaned golf shoes with soft spikes may be worn in the bar only.

MEMBERS, THEIR GUESTS AND VISITORS ARE EXPECTED TO CONFORM TO THIS DRESS CODE.
