4 Ball Texas Scramble Rules

4 Men or 4 Ladies but NO Mixed Teams.
This is the new format since WHS was introduced. 25%, 20%, 15% 10%, from the lowest to highest Playing handicap. ( Not Handicap Index ) the lowest handicap index receives 25% of their Playing handicap The Highest handicap index receives 10% of their Playing handicap. Add all 4 percentages and take this amount from the Gross score. All team members tee off at each hole, unless their drive cannot be selected. The most appropriate drive is then chosen as the place for the next stroke to be played from. Each player plays their next shot from within 6 inches of the chosen spot ( balls to be placed if on the Fairway and dropped if in the rough ). This is repeated until the Green is reached. The same process is repeated, except all players Putt from the same place, until the ball is holed. The score for the hole is the score of the 1st ball to be holed. Each team member must have 4 of their drives selected and this must be indicated on the score card. Failure to indicate the drive used will render the card unacceptable.
