The frustration experienced by members who are at work all week must be near explosion point as yet another two weekend days are lost because of the snow and frost.
The course was closed on Saturday quite naturally as it lay under at least three inches of snow, but despite a rapid thaw which cleared most of the surrounding roads, the course was definitely unplayable the following day.
