DEAR MEMBER
We are moving into different financial times of which we, as a Management Board are very aware.
We have in our 2009 budgets looked at a conservative scenario, we are however still in a stable financial situation to be able to move the club in a positive direction particularly in the catering area and with a new work program for the greens staff, we are anticipating giving a more consistent golf course presentation for all our playing members in 2009.
As you are no doubt aware, our Secretary Jim Johnson is retiring in March and we are very grateful for the dedicated services he has given to our golf club over many years.
We are also losing Glenys in April and no doubt she will be difficult to replace. I’m sure you would all wish both Jim and Glenys a long and happy retirement.
I would like to thank all the members who took the trouble to return their survey forms. Your view points are valued and assist us on Committee’s and Management Board to guide the club in the direction best suited for the majority of our membership.
The Document Download file is the results of the completed survey forms with some of the comments submitted. I’m sure you will find them interesting. Once again many thanks and I hope that 2009 will be a happy and prosperous year for us all.
